Once upon a time, the King and Queen of Portugal kept a zoo in their botanical garden, where they planted trees with seeds from across the globe. Today these animals can still be found throughout the palace on paintings, tapestries, ornaments and murals. This Spring, the palace walls will bustle with wildlife once more, with our all-new musical theatre program: The Lion King!
